The Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi have elected their new government for the 2020-2026 six-year term.
The voting took place on February 12, 2020, during the General Assembly held in Rome. The lay consecrated men thank Jorge López for the sacrificial and generous service with which he has guided them during these years as general director, and Alberto García, who also finishes his work in the general government.

Félix Gómez Rueda

General Director
Born on February 9, 1966 in Madrid, Spain. He lived in Mexico City from an early age. He was consecrated on August 27, 1989. For one year he was a student at Dublin Oak Academy, and completed his high school studies at the Cumbres Institute in Mexico City. He is an Industrial Engineer, has a master's degree in Economics and Business and in Finance, and a master's degree in Philosophy, and has doctoral studies in Leadership and Management of Higher Education Institutions from the Universidad Anáhuac México. He was a member of ECYD and a lay member of Regnum Christi. He participated in various projects such as Generación Empresarial Mexicana, Gente Nueva, Congresos Empresariales, among others. He was territorial administrator of the territories of Mexico and Monterrey. He was a member of the Board of Governors of the Regnum Christi University Network. Since 2017 he has worked at the Universidad Anáhuac México as Vice Rector of Finance and Administration, and since 2013 he has been a general counselor for the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi.

Félix Gómez Rueda

Cristian Názer Astorga

First General Counselor
Born on August 12, 1968 in Illapel, Chile, and consecrated on January 15, 1995. He was a Regnum Christi missionary (RCMC) 1993-1994 in Mexico City. He is a medical doctor by profession, studied Philosophy at the Ateneo Regina Apostolorum and has a master’s degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Anáhuac México. He has a specialization in Bioethics from the University of Sacro Cuore in Rome. He was Secretary General of the Universidad Anáhuac México Campus Sur, Academic Vice Rector of the Universidad Anáhuac México Campus Norte, and President of the Superior Council and Academic Vice Rector of the Universidad Finis Terrae. Since March 2013 he has been the rector of that university. Since 2012 he has been a general counselor for the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi, and since 2019 he has been a member of the Territorial Directive College of the Chile and Argentina territory.

Fernando Rincón Gallardo Elguero

Second General Counselor
Born on May 14, 1978 in Mexico City and consecrated on September 15, 1996. He is an Industrial Engineer and has a master’s degree in Human Capital Development from the Universidad Anáhuac México. He was a formator at Centro Estudiantil in Mexico, delegate for educational centers in the territories of Monterrey and Chile and Argentina, deputy director of the Irish Institute in Monterrey, National Director of Regnum Christi apostolates in Brazil, ECYD Director in Monterrey and director of the community of lay consecrated men in Monterrey. Since 2013 he has been a general counselor for the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi, since 2018 director of the community in Rome and since 2017 he is responsible for the area of apostolates and youth sections in the area of Life and Mission of Regnum Christi of the General Directorate of the Regnum Christi Federation.

Guillermo Campillo Téllez

Third General Counselor
Born on January 15, 1984 in Hermosillo, Mexico and consecrated on August 15, 2004. He was a Regnum Christi missionary (RCMC) 2003-2004 in ECYD in Mexico City. He is an Industrial Engineer for Management and has a degree in Religious Sciences from the Universidad Anáhuac México. He has specialized in accompaniment, spiritual direction and vocational pastoral affairs. He dedicated himself to vocational promotion in Mexico. Since 2015 to date he has been the territorial head of ECYD in the Monterrey territory. Since 2014 he has been a territorial counselor for the Mexico and United States Territory.

Bernardo Pérez Ruiz Esparza

Fourth General Counselor
Born on November 26, 1971 in Mexico City and consecrated on September 29, 1991. He is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad Anáhuac México, studied Philosophy at the Ateneo Regina Apostolorum and has a diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Adolfo Ibáñez University. He was a general prefect of discipline and deputy director of Dublin Oak Academy, formator of lay consecrated men, director of administration and finance at the Universidad del Mayab, has supported in the territorial administration of the Mexico territory and at a general level, director of the youth section of Regnum Christi in León, formator of young people in Chile, director of the Formation center for lay consecrated men in Mexico and director of the community in Rome and territorial head of the Regnum Christi Mission Corps in the territories of Mexico and Monterrey. Director of the Territorial Office of Apostolates of the Mexico and Central America territory. Since 2012 to date he has been a general counselor for the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi.
Abraham Monroy

Abraham Monroy

Fifth General Counselor

Abraham Monroy was born in San Luis Potosi on January 2, 1986. He is a former student of the Andes Institute of that city and has been a consecrated member of Regnum Christi for 15 years.
He studied Industrial and Civil Engineering at the Universidad Anahuac Mexico Norte. He later obtained a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). From 2018 to 2020 he studied the Executive Global Master in Management (MSc) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, England. From 2022 to 2023, he completed the Master in Global Finance (MSc) at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and New York University (NYU).
From 2011 to 2018 he served as Director of Administration and Accounting at the Territorial Administration of Mexico. In recent years, in charge of that directorate, he also led the project to transform and update processes in all departments that make up the Territorial Administration in Mexico and Monterrey.
In 2018 he joined the General Administration of Regnum Christi as Manager of Organizational Process Development in the Strategic Management team.
Since 2020 he has been the Director of Administration and Finance of the Semper Altius Schools Network in Mexico.
He has recently been selected to participate in the congress “The Economy of Francesco” convened by Pope Francis to reflect and integrate proposals for change towards a more just, inclusive and sustainable economy in the world.

Mario Olivieri Sangiacomo Carrera
